Karan: Agar aapki policy 12 baje raat ko expire ho gayi aur accident agle din subah 8 baje hua, toh company aapko ek rupaya bhi nahi degi.

2. Invalid Driving License (DL)
Insurance company sabse pehle driver ka license check karti hai.
Karan: Agar accident ke waqt driver ke paas valid license nahi hai, ya license expire ho chuka hai, toh claim turant reject ho jayega.
Important Point: Agar aapke paas ‘Private Vehicle’ ka license hai aur aap ‘Commercial Vehicle’ chala rahe hain, toh bhi claim nahi milega.
3. Drink and Drive (Nasha Karke Gaadi Chalana)
Kanoon aur ethics dono ke khilaaf hai, aur insurance companies is par zero tolerance rakhti hain.
Karan: Agar report mein yeh saabit ho gaya ki driver sharab ya kisi drug ke asar mein tha, toh claim ka sawal hi paida nahi hota. Yeh ek illegal act mana jata hai.
4. Gaadi ka Commercial Use (Commercial vs Private)
Log aksar apni personal car ko taxi ki tarah use karne lagte hain (jaise Ola/Uber ya kisi private ride ke liye).
Karan: Agar aapki policy Private Car Insurance hai aur accident ke waqt gaadi ka istemal paise kamaane (commercial) ke liye ho raha tha, toh company claim reject kar degi. Business use ke liye alag policy leni padti hai.
5. Delay in Informing (Claim Batane Mein Deri)
Accident hone ke baad ek fixed time limit hoti hai (aksar 48 se 72 ghante) jiske andar aapko company ko inform karna hota hai.
Karan: Agar aap accident ke 10 din baad company ko bata rahe hain, toh wo ise ‘suspicious’ maante hain aur claim reject kar sakte hain.

6. Incorrect Information (Galat Jaankari Dena)

Karan: Agar aapne ‘No Claim Bonus’ (NCB) galat bataya hai ya gaadi ki purani damages chhupayi hain, toh company ‘Non-disclosure of facts’ ke basis par claim cancel kar sakti hai.
7. Unauthorized Modifications (Gaadi Mein Badlav)
Aaj kal log apni gaadi mein bade tyres, heavy music systems, ya engine modifications karate hain.
Karan: Agar aapne gaadi mein koi bada change kiya hai aur uski jaankari insurance company ko nahi di, toh wo accident ke waqt ise policy ka उल्लंघन (violation) maan sakte hain.
8. Mechanical Failure vs Accident
Insurance sirf accidents aur natural calamities ke liye hota hai, gaadi ki kharabi ke liye nahi.
Karan: Agar aapka engine isliye kharab hua kyunki aapne service nahi karayi ya tel (oil) leak ho raha tha, toh ye claim nahi milega. Claims tabhi milte hain jab nuksan kisi ‘External Force’ (takkar, aag, flood) se hua ho.
9. Hydrostatic Lock (Baarish Mein Engine Start Karna)
Monsoon ke waqt ye sabse zyada hota hai.
Karan: Agar aapki gaadi pani mein doobi hui hai aur aap baar-baar engine start karne ki koshish karte hain, toh pani engine ke andar chala jata hai (Hydrostatic Lock). Isse hone wala nuksan insurance cover nahi karta kyunki ise “deliberate damage” mana jata hai.
Solution: Pani bhare raste par gaadi band ho jaye toh kabhi start na karein, seedha tow karwayein.
10. Secondary Damage (Nuksan ke Baad Gaadi Chalana)
Maan lijiye chota accident hua aur radiator leak ho gaya. Aapne gaadi roki nahi aur chalate rahe jab tak engine overheat hokar seize nahi ho gaya.
Karan: Insurance company sirf radiator ka kharcha degi, engine ka nahi, kyunki engine aapki laparwahi se kharab hua hai.
11Wrong Information in Proposal Form
Policy lete waqt agar aapne:
Wrong age batayi
Vehicle modification hide ki
Previous claim history chhupayi
